My brother went on the internet to look for the website and found one of the outlets in St John's Wood, so off we went on a long long walk there walking through Regent's Park...
We reach St John's Wood at last.
This is the high street.
Anyway for everybody's information, high street in UK means any street with lots of shops on both sides.
Well that's what I think it means anyway.
If you think I'm talking crap then you can go google/wikipedia the meaning, cause I'm probably talking crap. Hahaha.
Oh well, let's continue on with our journey....
Then...we spotted the shop from afar!
It's Maison Blanc!!!
Wow damn hungry, we walked all the way there and we haven't even eaten breakfast/lunch yet!!
Argh! So many cakes are gone!!
I suspect the nice ones are finished!
I couldn't take more pictures as we were not allowed to take photos in the shop.
Photography is not allowed in a lot of shops. I've been scolded countless times for taking photos.
WTF!
Anyhow we went and ask the lady to recommend us some nice cakes.
My suspicions are confirmed, most of the yummy cakes are gone.
*sighs*
Also apparently they only hire French workers in the shop.
Oh there was this very cute shop assistant who is tall with gorgeous tousled brown hair.
Hehe the cakes are so nicely wrapped up in paper and then put into plastic bags for us to carry. Very nice added touch!
Ah the first one, some raspberry pastry, don't ask me what it's called. It's got pastry layers and in between there's creme pattiserie and raspberries. Very yummeh!
Passion Fruit mousse and Apple Tart
The passion fruit mousse was absolutely delicious. Its sweet and tangy taste complementing each other very well. Mousse just absolutely melted in my mouth.
Apple tart was so-so. There was a layer of apple compote below the apple slices.
Well, later then we thought that we had to walk back all the way again, but Stephanie who is very very nice came and fetch us home with her car :)
Wah I didn't know cars are so canggih these days. Got built in GPS system some more.
Also apparently if you have a hybrid car you don't have to pay for congestion charges within central London and you also save a lot on petrol with the hybrid car.
