Day before yesterday, me and my brother went off to Angel to get some food shopping done.
Our fridge was like totally EMPTY!
So off we went on another long long walk off to Angel.
As you can see I indulge in taking long walks, it's the only exercise I get!!
Anyway when we arrived at Angel, we found out that there was a wet market there!
Buying fresh food at the wet market was much much cheaper compared to at Sainsburys, obviously. Imagine two big boxes of strawberries for only 1 pound! And 3 big bunches of coriander for 1 pound, but my brother bargained with the store owner and we got it for 80 pence :)
Normally a small bunch of coriander in supermarkets are around 80-90 pence.
So later on our way home, we stopped over at the French Patisserie near our house and bought some cakes to eat.
These cakes are really good stuff I tell you.
The one on the right taste exactly like Nutella and Ferrero Rocher....crunchy, chocolatery, hazelnuty. Heaven on earth!
The one on the left is good too. Can't remember how it taste like except that it's good. It's got liquor in between the layers, although not very much of it.
I really like this French Bakery, I think it's called Pattisserie Deux Amis and it's located on Judd Street near King's Cross. Walked into the shop and you find yourself in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, and the decor in the shop is so pretty and old-school, almost like some French cafe in some small village in France. And the girl manning the shop is so PRETTY!! omg! A delightful, pleasant French girl who will gladly recommend and explain the different types of cakes available.
I'm not sure she's French, but I think she's French cause she keeps giving me the names of the cakes in French, and I'll look at her and go,"Huh?"
Well sounds French to me anyway.
And and everytime I go there, the lady will be making coffee to serve to customers and it smells super GOOD!!
Anyways, after eating cake, got down to cooking dinner....
Eh, it seriously taste better than it looks ok!
Lots of hard work of deboning the chicken, chopping, cutting and cooking went into it.
And what's my reward for all my hard work?
Here it is!! Hehehhehee.
Stephanie brought Krispy Kreme for dessert!!!
yeay!! Love her to bits for bringing my favourite doughnuts!
Check it out baby!!!
Freaking good stuff!!
Super sweet, super fattening!!
Hungry yet?
