Borough Market - Part two. BEST COFFEE EVER!! Monmouth Coffee Company :-)

Since I came back again to UK to study, I've developed a very bad habit of drinking lots of coffee and tea!!!
Most of the time in the Hospital, after rounds, during the start of clinics, between surgeries, the most common thing you would hear uttered would be , "Would you like a cup of coffee/tea?"

Sorry I really couldn't resist the urge to say no! Which is weird, as I hardly drank it in Malaysia.

So, between surgeries, I had this tendency to run to the coffee lounge and help myself to lots of free coffee/tea!! Hehehe!!
And then I ended up reading all the gossip magazines there instead of reading my Oxford Handbook *sighs*
So at that time I knew more about all the gossips going on in Big Brother, and I don't even watch that stupid show. Yes I do think it's a stupid show! I don't understand why are people so entertained watching a bunch of people sitting around the house doing nothing?

Anyhow, this has resulted in me being totally utterly
ADDICTED to coffee/tea!! Argh.....

Yes! Coffee/tea does keep me awake and perky most of the time, especially in the morning, when all I want to do is to crawl back beneath my warm covers and go back to zzZzzzz again. Aberdeen so cold most of the time! Haih!

Anyway, here's introducing one of the best coffee I've tasted!!

It's Monmouth Coffee Company! They have two branches in Borough Market alone, and I think they have one more branch in Covent Garden, although till today, I still haven't found that branch yet. Also due to the fact that I'm kinda blur and not very familiar with London, and have a very high tendency of getting lost. I'm also damn lazy to look at the map, so this has compounded my problem.

So I decided to try this coffee as it came highly recommended from my cousin and brother :)

Yeah baby! Skinny jeans is still very in here in the UK!
Check out the cute butt :)

Done looking yet??
We shall continue then.
Most of the drinks here cost about 2 quid. Well you can click on the picture above to see the different prices for how you would like your coffee to be made.
Basically they have different types of coffee beans which you can choose from, and they will grind the coffee beans there and then and proceed to make you a nice steaming cup of coffee.

All the different types of coffee available sourced from all over the world

I think they call this drip coffee if I'm not mistaken.
They put the beans on top of the filter paper and pour hot water and wait for the water to drain from those white filter cups above into another cup below.
Wah, the wonderful aroma of freshly made coffee wafting up into the air!

At the side of the table there is brown sugar, liquid sugar, and milk for you to add according to suit your own taste :)

Here's the other branch located somewhere in Borough Market too.
This one is a proper shop with tables and chairs and they sell other food too.

They sell pastries here too!
And on the table there's bread, butter and jam, of course you need to pay for it!
Do you think this is a cool picture???
Well I do!!
I didn't take the picture, in case you were wondering if I was being thick-skinned and praising my own photo-taking skills.

Open your eyes wide-wide, I think you can see some bread sitting on the table.

Whoever knew pictures took so much time and effort to upload!! Also whoever knew blogging is such hard work! and very time consuming I must add.

Due to my obvious laziness, you can see that my blog is becoming more and more full of pictures, so I can write less! Hehe, not that I'm much of a brilliant writer to begin with. But I have a feeling that my level has further deteriorated since entering medical school. *Sighs*

Okay, shall continue writing more soon!
